Regarding the media coverage of “Military Organization Adjustment of Armed Forces, Reorganizing Joint Military Branches Camps”, the Army Command Headquarters has provided the following explanations:

1. The organizational adjustment of troops assembly takes into account factors including the threats of enemies, combat requirements, as well as the preparation and construction of new weapons and equipment in order to be line with modernized war fares, and continues to implement constant R&D and improvement.

2. The adjustment and planning for the “Joint Military Branches Camps” of the United Brigade of Army is conducted to respond to future combat forms of ground defense. Taking the methods from various advanced countries as references, the ground troops are developed in the direction of “Exerting Coordination Between Joint Military Branches” and “Elevating Independent Combat Capabilities”, so that ground troops can be equipped with reliable combat capabilities that are “Consistent in Peacetime and Wartime”, as well as able to adapt to the changes rapidly and comprehensively tackle on missions. The relevant details are still in the research phase, and the experimental unit will integrate stations with practices including combat readiness missions and equipment maintenance missions to verify on the feedback effectiveness, where all items will be conducted one at a time to complete the overall objective.

3. The exiting overall personnel compilation ratio of Army has reached 80%, and continues to strive for the 90% target next year. The organizational adjustment of this project is in no relation to factors including organizational streamlining, recruitment, and troops compilation; it is implemented merely to construct a reliable combat force and reinforce combat capability of ground defense, hence the command headquarters hereby requests support from all citizens and media, and refrain from any speculation.
